Heart of Illinois Mensa is a local group of American Mensa, Ltd. Mensa, the high IQ society, is an international society that has one, and only one, qualification for membership: a score in the top 2% of the population on a standardized intelligence test. Heart of Illinois serves as the local group for Mensans in our geographic area. As shown in map below, Heart of Illinois stretches from the Indiana border east of Danville to just West of Peoria. Metro areas in our region include Peoria, Pekin, Morton, Normal, Bloomington, Rantoul, Mahomet, Champaign, Urbana, Danville, Mattoon, Charleston, Georgetown, and Paris, Illinois. |
